Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website or buy Praxis, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Vendel tmi (Business ID / Y-tunnus 3256085-4), a sole trader registered in Finland. For any privacy question or request, contact support@vendellabs.com.

2. What data is collected

• Visiting this site: the site itself uses no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies, and collects no personal data through forms. Our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical connection data such as your IP address and request metadata in server logs, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
• Buying Praxis: the purchase and checkout are handled by our reseller and payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), which acts as the merchant of record. They collect the data needed for the sale — e.g. your email, billing details and payment information — under their own privacy policy. From them we receive limited order information (such as your email and what you bought) to deliver the product, provide support, and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
• Contacting us: if you email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message in order to reply.

3. Why we process it, and the legal basis

• To deliver and secure this website — legitimate interest.
• To fulfil your purchase and provide the software and its licence — performance of a contract.
• To answer support requests — contract / legitimate interest.
• To keep records required by accounting, tax and consumer law — legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

4. Who your data is shared with

• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and security (processes connection/log data).
• Lemon Squeezy / Stripe — checkout, payment and merchant-of-record services for your purchase.

These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for the payment, under their own terms and safeguards. We share data only as needed for the purposes above or where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards used by those providers, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent framework.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by accounting, tax and consumer legislation. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period.

7. Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics. The Lemon Squeezy checkout you are taken to in order to pay may set its own cookies, governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy and cookie policy.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased, where applicable;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email support@vendellabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
